The Chicago Cubs recently announced the make-up game for the rained out Aug. 16 game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

On that day, the hundreds of GLBTs who purchased Rainbow Media LLC’s “Out at the Ballgame” Cubs tickets suffered through a muggy three hour and 15 minute rain delay before the game was officially postponed.

The make-up game is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 30, at 1:05 p.m.

All tickets for the Aug. 16 game will be honored at the gates, which will open at 11:35 a.m. on Sept. 30.

All Out at the Ballgame VIP Rooftop guests are welcome to return to the VIP Rooftop that day as well. Guest names are on a check-in list, so guests need only show up with a valid I.D. to obtain entrance. The VIP Rooftop is not issuing refunds.

The VIP Rooftop is located at 3621 N. Sheffield Ave. Access to the VIP Rooftop is via the alley, and guests should bring a valid ID and try to arrive no later than 12:30 pm to allow for check-in procedures. They should also take a few moments to visit the rooftop’s website at wrigleydoneright.com to familiarize themselves with the rooftop’s policies, menu and amenities.

Please note that the rescheduled game is part of a day-night, separate admission double header.

Visit cubs.com for more information about their ticket policy.
